Submit Your Stories to Writing Contest

Is there a "beginning" in your life that transformed you? What about something that touched you so deeply that you feel the need to write about it? If you're over 18 and enjoy writing, think about submitting a non-fiction piece to the Chesterfield Arts' 2011 Jade G. Bute Adult Writing Contest.

You don't have to be an established writer, just someone passionate about putting ink to paper (whether that's pen or printer ink). Entrants must be Missouri or Illinois residents and the piece (up to 3 pieces may be submitted) can be no longer than 1,500 words or six typed, double-spaced pages.
