Meet 3 Candidates Tonight for Parkway School Board

Forum 7pm at Parkway South Middle School, election April 3.

The League of Women Voters of St. Louis will moderate a public forum for candidates running for the Parkway School District Board of Education on Monday, March 12, 7pm, at Parkway South Middle School, 760 Woods Mill Road in Manchester, 63011.   The public will hear the three candidates speak, and answer questions in a public forum. The candidates are incumbents Beth Feldman and Helen Casteel, and challenger Kim Appelbaum.  The election is April 3. Rockwood Candidates to Take Public's Questions

Two Chesterfield candidates are looking for seats on the Rockwood school board, in the April 3 election.

District residents will have the chance to hear firsthand from Rockwood School District board of education candidates at a Q&A forum March 6, officials announced this week. The event is being sponsored by the League of Women Voters of St. Louis, and will include four candidates competing for two open seats on the board. Incumbent Peggy Devoy and recently-appointed incumbent Geoff Rigabar both indicated they would not be seeking election this spring. Candidates include: In addition to questions developed by the League of Women Voters, those in attendance will have the opportunity to pose their own questions to the candidates. The forum will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, at Crestview Middle School in Ellisville. …

Changes Ahead for Rockwood School District Board of Education

The April 3 ballot will see incumbent and new candidates for directors, so far.

A newly appointed Rockwood School District board of education director, Geoff Rigabar, said he filed Tuesday to run in the April 3 election. Rigabar is a Wildwood resident. The term for another Rockwood board of director, Peggy Devoy, is up this spring, but she announced that she does not intend to run for another term. Rockwood board of education secretary Kathy Chitwood said as of Wednesday morning, two other candidates have filed for the board's two upcoming vacancies:  Victor Hiken and Sherri Rogers. Hiken resides in Ellisville, and Rogers resides in Chesterfield. The departing Devoy was elected to the Rockwood board of education in 2006.
