Chesterfield Leaders To Vote Over Outlets, Schoettler Road Fixes, Monday

Chesterfield's City Council is to meet Monday night for its regular meeting, that will included a vote over a one percent sales tax hike for future St. Louis Premium Outlets stores, in Chesterfield Valley at the Missouri River. The council's agenda also indicates it would be approving elements on the outlet mall site plan. The proposed outlet stores shopping center would be a 55-acre development on former farmland along Highway 40/64. Site plans typically deal with landscaping, lighting, layout, buildings, and generally, the mapping out of the proposed development. Improvements to Schoettler Road will hopefully include continuous sidewalks and a pedestrian bridge. This is something that we have looked forward to for years, now with the additional shopping and dining on Clayton Road we will be able to walk to our destination rather than drive.   more ›
