For adults, birthdays are another harsh reminder of age progression. Sure, the big milestones, like turning 21 or reaching a new decade, are occasionally marked with parties. But our adulthood soirees are never quite as grand as the parties we throw for our kids. A child’s birthday party is a celebration that, parents hope, will create lifelong memories.
