The Last Freestanding Judaica Store In St. Louis Is Closing

The Source Unlimited, located at 11044 Olive Boulevard in Creve Coeur, has functioned as more than just a place to purchase menorahs and other items tied to the Jewish faith.

After 36 years in operation and the last 9 under the ownership of Chabad of Chesterfield, The Source Unlimited will close its doors in Creve Coeur in a strip mall located at the corner of Graeser Road and Olive Boulevard. The shop is the last remaining free-standing place where people can find all manner of items related to the Jewish faith. Many if not all temples and congregations operate their own gift shops. Rabbi Avi Rubenfeld, who has managed the shop in addition to his duties at Chabad of Chesterfield, took pride in the fact that the store rebounded with new ownership when Chabad of Chesterfield came in, but also in the fact that the store served as more than just a place where people could come to buy items. Public Menorah Lighting Tonight at Chesterfield Mall

Chabad of Chesterfield will be hosting a public Menorah lighting tonight at 6:30 at the Chesterfield Mall with plenty of activities for kids, such as face painting and balloons.

Chabad of Chesterfield will host a public Menorah lighting tonight at the Chesterfield Mall with lots of family-friendly activities.  The festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. near the entrance to Dillard's. In addition to the Menorah lighting, activities will include face painting, balloons, doughnuts and live music.  For more information, visit the Chabad of Chesterfield website.
