Chesterfield Pet Boarding Business Building New Facility

Pets and Company is planning to move to a new 10,000 square foot building in the same development as the future St. Louis Premium Outlets.

Chesterfield’s Pets and Company is building a new, larger home for its furry houseguests. The kennel and pet boarding business will be moving out of its current home on Edison Avenue after construction of the new, larger location on Chesterfield Airport Road is finished. Owner Coral Wallace said construction is planned to begin in June on the lot for the new Pets and Company, which is currently empty and sits across from Rombach’s Farm. It will be part of Chesterfield Blue Valley, the large, mixed-use commercial development that is home to the future St. Louis Premium Outlets.   Wallace said they have been in operation for seven years and now need room to grow. 'Other' Outlets Mall Developer Has a Sign Up

A white gravel road is what's apparent, so far, at Premium Outlets site.

Simon Properties, in conjuction with Chesterfield Blue Valley LLC, wants to develop about 50 acres as an outlets mall in Chesterfield Valley. The vacant property is just before the Daniel Boone Bridge over the Missouri River, and is within sight—if not adjacent to—Rombach Farm. The Premium Outlets shopping center would be one part of a 188-acre complex that could include a hotel, office space eventually, and other features, developers said. Development for the complex would require a reconfiguration of Olive Street Road and its intersection with Chesterfield Airport Road. Plans show the center's entrances from Olive Street Road. The property extends to Monarch Levee trail access, where primarily parking would be located, according to …

Goodbye Chesterfield Mall. Yes, we know you were here first, but nobody seems to care. All they want is more, more, more. I hope all the taxpayers are happy paying for two outlet malls in Chesterfield that we do not need.   more ›
