Police Blotter: Car Thieves Target Unlocked Vehicles

A rash of car thefts reported in the first part of this week's incident report continued, with 11 more vehicle break-ins reported from Nov. 24-27.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Chesterfield Police Department. Police Blotter: At Least Seven Cars Broken Into in One Night

The following arrest information was supplied by the Chesterfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.  Nov 23 Assault - A 14-year-old male punched the victim in the face after an argument causing minor injuries. Police Blotter: String of Car Thefts Hit Chesterfield Valley

Three vehicles in separate locations in the Chesterfield Valley area were broken into on Nov. 19.

Nov. 19 Larceny, auto – An unknown subject entered an unlocked vehicle in the 50 block of River Bend Court and took a cell phone, change and pocket knife. Police Blotter: Stolen Phones Not Actually Stolen

A Chesterfield business reported its phones stolen to the Chesterfield Police Department on Oct. 10, but it wasn't thieves who nabbed the devices. According to Officer Mike Ryffel, a local software company reported that several phones were taken at around noon from the desks in the company's office.  "It ended up being a repossession due to unpaid bills and was unfounded as a crime," Ryffel said in an email to Patch.  The following information was supplied by the Chesterfield Police Department.
