A single-vehicle collision this morning in Chesterfield brought down power lines, but did not cause any major outages.
A single vehicle struck a utility pole and knocked it down this morning around 7:20 on Ladue Road just west of Route 141 in Chesterfield. Chesterfield Police responded to the scene and reported that there were no injuries. The wires that were downed as a result of the accident presented no danger to the public and were quickly cleared by the utility company, according to police. The incident caused a loss of power for one home in the area, police said, but no major outages were reported.
