Chesterfield Mall Shoplifter Facing Possible Charges for Heroin Possession

Police are waiting for lab results to confirm the identity of the substance found on the suspect.

Police are investigating possible charges for heroin possession for a shoplifter who took items from a department store in Chesterfield Mall. Mall security caught the suspect, described as a 30-year-old female, after she attempted to conceal clothing and then take it without paying from Dillards April 4. Security Busts 13-Year-Old for Marijuana Possession at Chesterfield Mall

The teen could face charges of misdemeanor drug possession.

A 13-year-old boy could be facing charges of misdemeanor drug possession after security at Chesterfield Mall discovered he had marijuana. Police said the incident occurred on March 2 at around 7 p.m. when a mall security guard checked a group of kids that included the 13-year-old suspect. He found what was described as a “small amount” of pot and notified the juvenile’s parents. It was not immediately clear what prompted mall security to stop the kids. Chesterfield Police Officer Mike Ryffel said that unlike an official law enforcement officer, security guards are considered private citizens and do not need a reason or probable cause to stop and question someone. “There are some limitations, but they are not bound by the Fourth Amendment …

Chesterfield Police Arrest Two Stopped on Traffic Violations for Drug Possession

The separate incidents occurred on Jan. 23 and Jan. 25 and involved the suspects allegedly being found with marijuana.

Traffic stops performed by the Chesterfield Police recently resulted in drug possession charges for two separate individuals. In each case, the suspect was pulled for a traffic violation and found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to a weekly media report prepared by the Chesterfield Police. The first incident occurred on Jan. 23 when police stopped a 23-year-old-male near the intersection of Route 141 and Olive Boulevard. Police Blotter: Traffic Stops Result in Pot Possession Charges

Dec. 5 Burglary – An unknown subject entered a school in the 200 block of Santa Maria Drive and took food items. Larceny, person – An unknown subject took the victim’s credit card and attempted to use it for purchases in the 200 block of Woods Mill Road. Shoplifting – A 24-year-old male and another unidentified male walked out of a store in the 100 block of THF Boulevard with a TV. The subjects ran after being confronted by security, but one of them was detained a short time later. Gas drive off – An unknown subject pumped gasoline from a station in the 14000 block of Olive Boulevard and left without paying. Chesterfield Police: Teens Found With Ecstasy During Traffic Stop

The Chesterfield Police Department is investigating a case of felony drug possession after four adults were found in possession of ecstasy and marijuana.

The Chesterfield Police Department is investigating a case of felony drug possession after four adults, including three teenagers, were found with ectasy, marijuana and alcohol during a traffic stop last week.  The car carrying four males ages 16, 17, 18 and 20 was stopped for a possible traffic violation near the intersection of Clayton Road and Princeton Gate Drive around 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 23, according to a report in the Chesterfield Police blotter. The officer then subsequently found the four individuals to be in possession of ecstacy, marijuana, alcohol and drug paraphenalia. The Chesterfield Police Department declined to give further information, stating that the department does not release details on drug cases until the suspects …

Chesterfield Teens Busted for Drug Possession

An 18-year-old male and a 15-year-old male were found with a small amount of marijuana after they were pulled over for a suspicious vehicle check.

Two teenagers are being charged with misdemeanor drug possession after they were found with a small baggie of marijuana during a suspicious vehicle stop in Chesterfield.  The incident occurred Nov. 20 at around 7:15 a.m. in the 2100 block of Willow Forest Court and involved a 18-year-old male and a 15-year-old male, according to the Chesterfield Police Department.  Chesterfield Officer Mike Ryffel said they initiated the stop after a resident called about a suspicious vehicle in her neighborhood. The officer conducting the stop was alerted to the possible presence of marijuana after he smelled it in the car, Ryffel said.
