Chesterfield House Fire Puts Firefighter in Hospital Tuesday Evening

Spokesman said firefighter later released.

A house fire on Quiet Creek Court in Chesterfield Tuesday landed one Monarch Fire PD firefighter in the hospital with apparent heat exhaustion, a Monarch spokesman said. Monarch and Metro West Fire Protection District responded to a call about 5:30 p.m. in the 16400 block of Quiet Creek Court. It's located in a wooded area about midway along Kehr's Mill Road between Clarkson and Wildhorse Creek roads—off Horseshoe Ridge Road. The firefighter was observed and released from the hospital, a spokesperson said. Air temperatures reached 72 degrees Tuesday afternoon. The fire appeared to have started on the rear deck of the two-story colonial-style house. The cause was unclear Tuesday night. Fire Marshal Roger Herin said two teenagers were home …
