Where to Get Free Coffee for National Coffee Day 2012

Celebrate with free coffee, but not at Starbucks or McDonalds in Town and Country and Manchester. However, St. Louis area 7-Eleven stores are offering free coffee Friday.

Griffin and the Gargoyles Play at Amphitheater Saturday

Got plans Saturday night? Why not check out a free concert at the Chesterfield Amphitheater?  Griffin and the Gargoyles will be playing at 7 p.m. There were voted the Best St. Louis Cover Band of 2010 by the Riverfront Times. They play a little bit of everything, including (but definitely not limited to) Cake, The Beatles, Blink 182, Rascal Flatts and Justin Timberlake. Check out their demo video to learn more! Celebrate 7-Eleven's 84th Birthday with a Free Slurpee

The convenience store is offering customers a free 7.11 ounce frozen treat Monday to celebrate its 84th birthday.

7-Eleven is offering customers a free 7.11-ounce frozen Slurpee drink Monday to help celebrate its 84th birthday. The free Slurpee offer is available until midnight at participating convenience stores while supplies last. As part of the "Slurpee-bration," some locations will offer in-store specials, music, entertainment, prizes and food samplings. 7-Eleven began offering free Slurpees on July 11 on its 75th birthday in 2002, and it's become a big hit with customers. In fact, one year the company gave out 5 million Slurpee drinks in one day. 7-Eleven began in 1927 when a Southland Ice Company employee started selling bread, milk and eggs on a dock in a Dallas suburb. Today, the chain has 8,600 7-Eleven stores in North America and about 41,…
