Commerce CEO Departure a Mystery for Chesterfield
Chamber directors mum: "Not anyone's business."
There's been no public explanation for the abrupt departure of Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Robey Taylor after six months on the job. Reached after his desparture, which was announced in a brief email from the Chamber board of directors, Taylor was unwilling to provide any insight. He suggested contacting the president of the Chamber board of directors, Jennifer Hill. Hill said Thursday by phone that "it really isn't anyone's business" as to why Taylor separated from the top post. Taylor had previously been Chamber president of the board of directors.
