Patients Reportedly Hospitalized After Receiving Wrong Solution During Dialysis

Seven patients are reportedly hospitalized, some in critical condition, after receiving the wrong solution during dialysis at West County treatment center U.S. Renal Care.

According to KMOV.com, the incident happened Monday at the U.S. Renal Care at 13190 South Outer 40 Road. The seven patients were hospitalized, three in critical condition, after receving the wrong solution during dialysis, KMOV reported Tuesday. A Renal Care spokesperson reportedly told KMOV that all seven were taken to area hospitals, including Missouri Baptist Medical Center in Town and Country. One person has since been discharged from the hospital. The center reportedly became aware of the mix-up when the patients receiving dialysis said they began feeling uncomfortable, according to KMOV.
