Consignment Store is the Latest Addition to Chesterfield Retail Scene

Now and Again on Olive Boulevard sells new and consigned home furnishings and opened on Thursday.

Chesterfield's newest store is adding a high-end consignment compoment to the bargain hunting that is becoming big business in the West County area.  Now and Again home furnishings officially opened on March 7 at 14015 Olive Blvd., although the sign above the door still reads "Suburban Leisure Center." The previous occupant of the building closed in 2011, after being in business since 1951.  Furniture was the focus at the store on Friday with easy chairs, couches and beds covering the showroom floor. As previously reported by Patch, the store will focus its consignments on higher quality furniture and will also sell new items.  The new consignment store means shoppers in the area looking to hit up re-sale shops will have plenty of options…

Consignment Store to Take the Place Of Suburban Leisure Center

After being vacant for more than year, the building will soon be home to Now and Again, which will sell new and consignment furniture.

A sign reading "Suburban Leisure Center" is still posted above the door for now, but the former lawn and garden business on Olive Boulevard will soon be home to consighment furniture store Now and Again.  Workers were busy preparing the store for its new life on Dec. 19. It will focus on "high-end" consignment furniture as well as new items, but an official opening date has not been announced yet. City officials said the owners of Now and Again received approvals for occupancy and to do some interior work, but have not yet applied for a business license.  The store has been vacant since September, 2011, when the Suburban Leisure Center closed after being in business since 1951.
