Owner of Chesterfield Restaurant Sentenced for Non-Payment of State, Local Sales Taxes
Sherri Poff pled guilty to two felony counts of failure to file and pay state and local sales taxes for Masterpiece Bar-B-Que restaurant in Chesterfield.
An O'Fallon woman has pled guilty to two felony counts of failure to file and pay state and local sales taxes for her Chesterfield restaurant. According to the Missouri Department of Revenue, Sherri Poff, owner of Masterpiece Bar-B-Que restaurant in Chesterfield, was placed on five years of supervised probation and ordered to pay restitution of $26,023 in monthly installments of $433. The Missouri Department of Revenue’s Criminal Tax Investigation Bureau investigated the cases and they were prosecuted by the St. Charles County and St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorneys’ Offices.
