First Free Summer Concert in Faust Park Tuesday Evening, Plus Fireworks

Tuesday evening is the first of Chesterfield's summer concert series in Faust County Park. The city will also celebrate its birthday with fireworks and cake after the concert. The section of the park where the concerts happen will open at 5:15pm Tuesday. People come early to claim a spot with blankets and chairs, and then by 6pm the food and drink concession opens up for business. This year's concert series kicks off with local favorite Bob Kuban Band. Music starts at 7pm. Chesterfield celebrates a birthday at this first concert. The party includes free cake for concert-goers, prizes for children, and fireworks after the music ends at 9pm.
