27 Years of Winter Wonder, Photos from Tilles Park

Pedestrians strolled the Tilles Park Winter Wonderwalk this weekend for a preview of Winter Wonderland, which opens on Wednesday.

Winter Wonderland, the million-light holiday display in Tilles Park, opens on Wednesday for the 27th annual showing this year. Pedestrians got a sneak preview this weekend, and food trucks provided fuel for the exercise. The drive-through, by car or horse-drawn carriage, opens Nov. 21 at 5:30 p.m. and runs through Jan. 1. It's closed Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Saturdays are reserved for carriage rides only. The following information is from the St. Louis County Parks Department.  Admission Fees: No reservations are needed. Pay your admission when you leave. Tilles Park Winter Wonderwalk Is This Weekend

Walk through the annual holiday light extravaganza before it opens to cars.

The 27th annual St. Louis County Parks Winter Wonderland in Tilles Park opens to the public Wednesday, Nov. 21, but patrons can experience the fun a week early at the Winter Wonderwalk. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) Patrons can stroll through the park to view the million-plus holiday lights on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 17-18 Winter Wonderwalk is $5 per person and strollers, wagons and dogs on a 6-foot leash are welcome. The walkthroughs will be held at the following times both nights: Advanced registration is required.
