In just four years, 8,000 people joined a health-conscious group about women at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, officials said. St. Luke's Spirit of Women initiative is aimed at improving the quality of life by providing leading health services and community outreach to women and their families. It's focus is to guide women in navigating each stage of life, empowering and inspiring them to take action for better health, hospital officials said. The notion is to keep fun and entertainment in the mix of living healthy. For example, a popular event is Girls’ Night Out.
