Counterfeit Bills Passed at Chesterfield Gas Station
Four $10 notes were used to purchase drinks and snacks on Feb. 9 at the Shell station on Clayton Road.
Police are investigating a case fraud after they say an unknown suspect passed counterfeit bills at a Chesterfield gas station last week. The four $10 bills were used Feb. 9 at the Shell service station on Clayton Road, just east of Baxter Road. Their fraudulent nature was discovered by a manager the next day, who reported it to police. Drinks and miscellaneous snacks were purchased with the fraudulent cash, according to police.
