Home Invasion Suspect Arraigned
Suspect charged with 10 counts.
A 42-year-old man suspected of an armed home invasion robbery in Chesterfield of a jeweler and his wife was arraigned April 25, some two months afterward. Richard James Lynch, the suspect, was just days earlier released from 17 years in prison for two burglaries and one robbery according to court records, when police pulled him over in a car in Chesterfield, and arrested him. Police said they were on the lookout for the suspect after a pawn shop employee identified Lynch as trying to unload the stolen property, and provided a fingerprint. A May 25 conference is scheduled on the case is St. Louis County Court, 9am.
