Teen Pulled over in Chesterfield Charged with Felony Pot Possession

The incident occurred on June 4 on Chesterfield Parkway West.

A traffic stop by the Chesterfield police last week has resulted in felony drug charges after a teenager was found with more than 35 grams of marijuana.

Police did not release the name of the suspect, but identified him as an 18-year-old male who was pulled over in the early morning hours of June 4 for a traffic violation near the intersection of Forest Trace Dr. and Chesterfield Parkway West

The amount of marijuana found on the teen is just over the limit—35 grams—that changes possession from a misdemeanor to a felony. One tablespoon is equal to about 15 grams.
