Deadline: Submit 'How You See Chesterfield' for City Photo Contest

There's still time! The deadline is Friday in this contest that's tied to the 25th anniversary of Chesterfield.

Throughout 2013, the city of Chesterfield has been throwing a birthday bash to celebrate its 25th anniversary. The latest installment of the celebration has a deadline on Friday: The city'sΒ 25th Anniversary Photo Contest.

The request: Submit your photos about how you see the city of Chesterfield.

Libbey Tucker, the city's economic development director, tells Patch that officials have already seen some great submissions to the contest, but there's still time to get yours in.

Here's more info about how it works, directly from the city's publications:

Submit any photos taken at any of the city's community events, concerts, sporting events, subdivision events or just scenery around Chesterfield. Did you have a subdivision party or parade, an event at one of our parks that you'd like to share?

E-mail the photos to photocontest@chesterfield.mo.us and include your name, a phone number, and a description of where the photo was taken.

During October, the photos will be on display at Chesterfield Mall, where mall patrons can vote for their favorites. The top three winners will be featured in the December issue of The Citizen newsletter and online, and will receive a prize basket from the city.
